Apple Cider Vinegar: Benefits and Uses

My friend Cheryl asked me a great question about the health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar.  I had actually researched this a few years ago and didn’t find much solid evidence about benefits despite many client testimonials.

Well, I looked again recently and found that over the past few years there have been quite a few reputable scientific studies published regarding various potential health benefits.

In this video I chat about my findings and describe my favorite uses for Apple Cider Vinegar including my favorite
palette-cleansing recipe:

Healthy Lemonade
– 2 Cups Water
– 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1.5 – 2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice (Juice of 1/2 lemon)

– 1 Tbsp Honey (or a bit more depending on how sweet you like it)
- Optional dash of Cayenne

Mix up all ingredients and enjoy!  It’s pretty tart- I usually drink 1/3 to 1/2 per night after dinner instead of dessert (or in addition to, depending on my mood).  ; )

Oh, and, look for raw, unprocessed vinegar for the best results.

Also, as promised, here’s a link to my post about the miraculous natural bug repellent:   https://www.facebook.com/RebeccatheDietitian/
