Black Bean Brownies

Black bean brownies?
I was sceptical too, but you must trust me.


B​​​​​​​y popular demand, here is the recipe that might change
your life. ; )

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The BEST Black Bean Brownies:

-2 rinsed/drained Cans Black Beans

– 1/2 cup Cacao Powder

– ​​​​​​​1 cup Rolled Oats

-​​​​​​​1/2 tsp salt

– 3/4 ​​​​cup (real) Maple Syrup

– 1/2 cup Coconut Oil

– 4 tsp Vanilla Extract

– 1 tsp Baking Powder

– 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

​​​​​​​ Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
​​​​​​​In food processor, blend all of the ingredients. Once blended well, pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan prepped with non-stick oil. Bake for 35 minutes, or until set.

Once they’ve cooled, slice into 1 in squares and enjoy.

  1. I do not use oil in my diet. Can I just use 1/2 cup of applesauce vs. the 1/4 cup applesauce and 1/4 of oil. Thanks for your help.

    • Yes Suzanne! I’ve had clients make the in their blenders and they turn out great. It just might require some scraping down the sides to get everything mixed well. Good luck and let me know if you like them!
